what to do with...

(one of the views from my pad in la la [hlp to be exact])

HAPPY summer days...
motivation...
and what to do with myself?

lately, i've been giving a lot of advice to different artists, mostly filmmakers actually.
and more importantly, i've been seeing my words of wisdom (ha ha) come into fruition.

now, if only i can listen to my own advice; apply it to myself; and get shit crackin' much quicker than (i believe) it should be.

patience. something i'm working on as i believe (& know first hand) mastering the art of patience is crucial for any filmmaker and any artist for that matter. i'm lucky that the average career span of most filmmakers begins around the ages 35-45...not that i should be comparing.

i.e. the homeboys David/Manuel were telling me a couple months ago about their feature film and how their mentor is executive producing their flick. i mentioned to david that it would be a good idea to get the story of their process into a publication like FIND's monthly Calendar/Magazine since it has a pretty large circulation.
low and behold, it happened.
recently published: david/manuel and their mentor have a pretty good featured article that will hopefully give them more exposure and bring them one step closer to making their film.

this is motivation right herrrrrrrr.

so this is what i'll do: take the motivation and run with it.
