in manila, on may 17th 1955, the captain of the manila police department and his wife
(sergio villanueva sr. and juanita espinoza) gave birth to the most entertaining
half ilocano/half tagalog pilipino known to man...(or known to me at least.)

i'm racking my brain trying to think of the most eloquent way to describe my pops, but no words could do him justice. he's a happy go lucky fella with a dynamic personality, which no doubt stems from (some of) the following:

brother of 9 other siblings;
father of four;
speaker of five languages (english, tagalog, ilocano, pangasinan, visayan);
raised on the streets of manila;
grew up as a wandering child &
passed around surrounding provinces of manila;
karaoke microphone hog;
brutally honest;
a hustler's hustler;

...and i wish the title of this entry was a simple metaphor but my pop is truly a g
who can throw down in the kitchen.
