the newest day gig has me in the mix of Hollywood's Writer's Strike. i was kickin' it with a homie last night who works for fox, only to find out today that i'm assigned to picket outside of fox studios tomorrow. funny coincidences everywhere being that my last full-time gig had me in the direct loop of the amptp's top dog.
just when i claimed the strong desire to escape politics (hollywood politics, that is) i find myself always back in the middle of it. they gave me "talking points" of what i'm supposed to say, in the event that i'm in contact with the press...however, what's the real difference between saying "We support the writers..." vs. "Why the Studios & AMPTP gotta be a bunch of selfish mu'fo's?"

I'm all for the writers strike! US writers need our fair share! They so screw us over for shit we create.
