voluntary dismissal

or in so many words, why torcher yourself?

last night we celebrated my mom and bro's birthdays. the variety of food offered was lovely as usual. but, in true mia-family-party-fashion; i greeted family, i grubbed and grubbed, and then, i fell asleep even before anyone departed...damn food comas always get the best of me.

in my bro's case, he voluntary accepts nature's torcher (i.e. the above photo.)

i, on the other hand, continuously defy authority which, at times, can lead to my own voluntary dismissal.
authority and i have always had rocky times. it's a relationship i've refused to keep an open mind about, unless, of course, i am in the position of authoity, myself.
this can lead to several outcomes.

i bring this up because at the nine to fever, the authority refused to approve this present vacation [that i decided to take anyhoo.] yet, i still find myself a [2.5 hour] flight away from los angeles. [lack of listening skills on my part, most probably.]

uh, yah...we'll see if i'll still have a j-o-b when i get back.

\Ummm.... yeah you left your cousins high and dry during the party. Hope you got your sleep on though.

Glad we got together at Red Robin, sort of a short stay. Miss Maida just lost it for no reason?? Who knows. As I type she is losing it now, not getting her way....

Anyways. Hope to see you at Thanksgiving, if not get your Turkey on and sleep all day Friday.

Be good in your way, stay alert, and keep in touch.

Your faithful blog reader.

It's not toucher, it's more like pushing your limits to see what you're capable of doing.

That's how me and Gabe saw it. It does seem like toucher though.
