gone/went/saw/felt/heard...
every moment is a memory passing... so they say.
and this summer of 2006 was no different, i suppose...there are several memories to choose from that will, no doubt, brighten my mood(s) for life. nonetheless, it would be unjust for me to choose a significant one to go down in the books.
i know i'm jump starting this thought as the first day of autumn doesn't begin until the 23rd, however september in my book spells fall- although in LA you'd never guess that.
september/first days of school/school supply prepping/hyper color leaves/etc.
are what translates to autumn (to muahh.) but i know that in a blink of an eye, we'll soon be reminiscing about the end of fall and the transition into winter.
[time, what a tricky fucker.- p. marber.]
sometimes i miss feeling the distinct transitioning of seasons and sometimes i don't.
just as sometimes i feel and sometimes i won't.
(okay, that wasn't meant to rhyme. it just came out that way.) this past summer marked a new era in several ways, but no need to bore you with the details. maybe this fall will translate into advanced experiences as well.
and the current memories passing...at this very moment:
i'm thinking about the lunch i had today...i'm thinking about the positive reinforcements that have landed on my lap...i'm thinking about these two interviews i set up for the homies for tomorrow...i'm thinking about rearranging my apt (again) once i get home...i'm thinking about the sunlight beaming in my eyes at 6:45pm...i'm thinking about my dried out contacts...i'm thinking about the expense report i have to organize based on the seattle shoot...i'm thinking about new ideas...i'm thinking about this visual effect/after effects concept i want to use implementing the pictures we scanned for the documentary...i'm thinking about the invisible man...i'm thinking about all the thank you cards that need to go out by next week...i'm thinking about my little bro who started his first day of middle school yesterday..i'm thinking about how i only gave good intentions to the universe once this morning (i'm slippin')..i'm thinking about how i feel like groovin' tonight but i only have the funds to groove in my apt at the moment...i'm thinking about boys who have come out of nowhere lately and if they're really worth it...i'm thinking about how my dad told me to drink milk today and i didn't...i'm thinking about this meeting i had this morning and how i was on point with my pitch...i'm thinking about the footage i want to watch tonight...i'm thinking about the event budget i have to complete by the am...i'm thinking about how millza just called and i couldn't find my phone in time...i'm thinking i need a new cell phone (and maybe a new cell phone number)...i'm thinking about parker in the north end...i'm thinking about jane in barcelona...i'm thinking i want to travel...to egypt...back to malaysia...back to barca...back to the philippines...i'm thinking 'when am i going to have the time and money to do all that i'm thinking about?'...i'm thinking of how annoying this must be to read...i'm thinking that when i write, i use "i" too much...
i'm thinking, thinking, thinking...
that these are just passing thoughts.
BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
