dope..hyphie..crunk..fresh..funk

(defnition of: diggity dope. friggity fresh=papa and his fellow bball teammates.)

so, i'm officially walking that fine line between being "hip" and well, not being at all.
as far as new slang coming around the world...i denounce the word 'hyphie.' sorry for you bay area folks and seattlites who use in regular conversation- but i just don't get hyphie. (meaning i don't understand or rather, i'm not feelin' that word at all.) it doesn't roll of your tongue as well as fresh or dope and i'd even prefer to use the word crunk before hyphie.

in other news of mia being out of touch of the young new urban trends: i have recently found windows of time to catch up on music videos and previewed some of the up and coming pop/r &b artists. needless to say, i'm not impressed. everything looks and sounds the same. feel free to correct me if i'm wrong and no doubt, there are sprinkles of talent amongst the mainstream; but overall, the 'T.I's' of the world don't entice me to press the repeat button anytime soon. (this is how out of touch i am; i didn't know who TI was until last week.)

sooo, i will stick to what i know to be fresh, for now...which is the originality that surrounds me, but has yet to be revealed to the masses. i trust and have faith that these works will prevail...whether you find them to be fresh/hyphie/dope/crunk or funky---is another question.
