looking ^

my funks are always temporary. and this one was no different.
i received several words of encouragement today that have contributed to my mind coming full circle and back on the 'glass-half-full' track.

the highlight of my day...well, there were several. but if i had to choose one- it would be that i had the opportunity to sit in the middle of my new living room, surrounded by unpacked boxes, listened to (a newly found) ipod, and wrote in my journal for a good hour. ahhh, this moment of meditation was oh-so-very needed.

after a good hour or so of writing, i was able to sit in the middle of the new pad and tried to 'envision' how i want the place to be set up within the next couple of months. we've decided to make our new office (#2) my new living room. this space will strictly be for writing and a general arts/crafts space. whereas oficina #1 has been used for handling b'ness, meetings, pre production, editing, story boarding, goal setting, dreaming, etc.

i received several generous offers today-- some that i may actually take people up on.
"I want to decorate your apartment. I'm such the entrepreneur....I have no focal expertise....everything is my focal expertise." said sistah. thank goodness for the homies who love to interior decorate as this has never been a sincere calling of mine. and the only advice i can give the homies is to "experiment, experiment away!" just make sure the environment stays chill and continues to be a creative safe haven. got it?

we'd like to get a little more chill-funky at office #2. but here are pictures that were taken from office #1...maybe you can give us some contstructive criticism on what will work and will not work in office #2?
