shots and THE shot.

the boys receiving their shots (pre malaysia trip):

now that (i hope &) i anticipate life going back to smoth-er sailing-- i can go back letting you all know how much my perspective on life continues to change. we're knee deep in post production and need to get a first (rough) cut of the malaysian documentary to some folks by this friday. one memory (among many) that continues to stand out was something that marina mahathir (http://www.worldpress.org/Asia/824.cfm) mentioned when we interviewed her. we asked her why this kind of work is so important. marina replied, "i always think that i didn't find HIV/AIDS activism-- this kind of work found me."

gosh darn it... and it's found us as well!

and these shots right here (by alzo) remind us of what should keep us going:

(click on the image homie, the full view is worth it!)

these are taken at a shelter for children living with HIV and AIDS. the kiddies loved the cameras. and we love the kiddies- too freakin cute for words!
