Witnessed these lovelies first hand this past weekend at Lake Shrine (my new favorite hidden oasis on the westside of LA.) Sometimes I forget that my still camera has video on it...but alas, the video doesn't do this moment justice. I was seriously hypnotized watching these swans.

To humans, these animals symbolize purity, love, and elegance and in many cultures, making it common characters of myths.
Hmmmm...
