uplift your mind; rise and shine

the first day of summer begins tomorrow. every year, this first week of solstice proves to be a pivotal part of my yearly timeline and this year is no different. four days prior to the official first day, new experiences have already generously occupied the ever changing routine. we declare 'generous' because regardless of the circumstance, we've evolved to instinctively being able to sincerely see the "good" in any given predicament. if one could bottle up the concept of the "ugly duckling evolving into a beautiful swan"; this is how we could define the events within the past week.

in other words, mastering the art of not taking anything at face value (as well as staying appreciative and chill) is what you can do to give this year's summer its true justice.
