relativity

with all of the different types of psychologies that exist (psychodynamic, evolutionary, behavioral, cognitive, etc) i find it funny how mainstream media and even well-thought out literature (online or on paper) fail to implement the significance of cross cultural psychology. i.e. Freakonomics.com is more than entertaining to read, but they rarely highlight the significance of culture within their arguments. i mean with all the different cultures and subcultures that exist, how can you ignore its influence on day-to-day behavior and opinions?
in more candid terms and to keep it reeeeaal- there are always more than 3 sides to any story and/or perspective: what's really happening, your version, their version and the 3rd party objective versions. (while still maintaining loyalty) that's why when a homie (or familia member) is telling (i.e.) a story, i always take their perspective with a grain of salt. not to discredit their point of view or storytelling capabilities, but the mind just needs to keep it classy and moving.
feel me? or am i just typing outta my ass (again)?
