shayne recently entertained me with her thoughts on generation y and got me thinking about how spoiled kids are nowadays (in the U.S., that is.) their access to information and resources are far more plentiful than our days of walking to the library, sifting through the card catalog, and trying to maneuver towards E 50 3697854 just to find a map of the mid west.

then again... my mom used to mention how lucky young women of my generation are these days. "back when i was your age, when we would go out dancing, if a boy didn't ask you to dance , then you were sitting alone the whole night...these days you girls can just dance by yourself and it's okay," she'd reiterate.

touché.

us generation x and y'rrrs are are all a bunch of spoiled punks...in some form or fashion.
