familia part I

i'm excited to be heading home this week. within the past year i've been home i'd say about 7-8 times. that's a record for me. i guess it just shows you how much i need my family- especially within the past year. what a luxury it would be for me to work and live in the same city as them. but one day it will happen, that's the goal.
sunday is gabe's one-year-anniversary. what a trip. i don't know if i'm ready to blog how i feel about that at the moment. but look how cute him and shayne look in our cousins picture above- circa 1986 i believe. i talked to `ate tina yesterday. apparently Maida recently took her first step- and i freak'in missed it!

i was crack'in up the other day when greg and i were watching the footage from the last shoot. in gi boy's interview, we had asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up.
"a multi-billionaire," he replied.
"well, how are you going to do that gi?"
"you guys," he said.

only your family can have that much faith in each other.
