today's state: want vs. implementation.

This filmmaker resigned from her day job the other day and a renewed sense of freedom would be an understatement. The mind will, however, miss (some elements of) the art and design school environment, most especially my students and selected faculty.

But another branch of life calls.

It's amusing how the turning of chapters transitions at a much quicker pace nowadays. The brain feels good and more confident about its ability to gain knowledge at an accelerated tempo as it's presented opportunities at the most arbitrary times. We're more than appreciative of this [new] ultra privileged ability to "choose" from a variety of favorable hands dealt.

The countdown is in process as another medium (in a different city) temporarily calls. This feels like stepping into a black hole full of smiley faces while its unknown principles causes simultaneous anxiety & amazement. We are witnessing this chemistry experiment, where the reaction can be infinite and the elements being mixed are people from different crafts. [At the master mixologist's request, our gratitude is limitless.]

(All the while, I'm somewhat disgusted at how lucky I really am & this luck validates how this is exactly the tight rope that has been molded for this arteest.)

It's a funny thing being aware and conscious of exactly who you want to become and having the results being a testimony that you're on the right path. Accompanying this journey is a sustained state of consciousness of not just current events, neurotic behavioral patterns & one's immediate and greater community... but this validation of personal history stemmed from the liberal, low income, artist/activist theories that advance the foundation of these critical day dreams. [These idealistic visions continue to cloud the reasons behind the daily actions.]

But as MA says Nothing works unless you do.

So here it is, the continuation of self- "working."
