(poor attempt at a self-portrait while biking in venice)

my siblings and i grew up privileged- not monetarily by any means, but we were loaded with lots of love. when both of your parents tell you that they love you on a daily basis, you know what that does to a kid's ego? low self-esteem is non-existent; being confident is an understatement; and faith in oneself is as vital as breathing.

we wouldn't trade our upbringings for anything in the world & like everyone else, we had our highs and lows... as we continue to grow, our boldness is not tested, but we are constantly dropped reminders to humble our asses. one can be confident without being elitist...and if these words aren't put into practice, we are always reminded as there's proof in the pictures:

perfection is a hilarious myth.
