adjustments to the assembly
blessings are droppin' like hot cakes. from Mr. Gates (yes, that computer guy) providing my sister with a complimentary trip to LA to the homies really helping a sis out with art show prepping...it seems like nowadays everyone is always down to help, drop the knowledge, practice inclusiveness, listen and edu-mi-cate in a non-elitist fashion.
the go-to justification of good vibes is due in part by the Obama-fever that has swept the world. i'm not sure if everyone understands the magnitude of emotions/actions/strategizing/mobilization that's going on right now. our new president-to-be has consistently preached the act of collaboration- and now people are realizing that it can work (if you want it to.) optimism takes on an unaccustomed form within this improved cycle.
take a gander at what is right in front of you. the possibilities are endless.
now the question to ask is:
how does what you need/want serve the whole community?
and speaking of serving the people...
it's been an enlightening week collaborating with some down-to-earth, talented, unconventional no-nonsense chicks as we prepped for the 'Styles Upon Styles' show.
good times. good times.
