delayed déjà vu

(at the new studio space just down the street from where i lived circa summer '98)

(greg is trapped by thousands of dollars worth of paintings- moving out of the old office & into the new.)

(reconnecting with the rockstar cousin over korean bbq)

(back to the photos: prepping for the show...the beginning stages of a beautiful process)

(LA's bipolar weather yesterday, check out where the clouds end)

(LA is a wannabe Seattle...trees in the wind)

(someone was angry yesterday: swaying palm tree in the wind/rain)

(yesterday's weird weather, LA folks don't know what to do!)

(what a trip! and...later on that same bipolar weather day)

the personal, creative and career evolution is transitioning at a rapid pace. so much so that my feelings, reactions, and/or recognitions of specific moments are often delayed, especially as of late. i know i'm sounding like a
stereotypical hippie-like/new age-ee LA chick, but f*ck it, i can't deny this process.

the abundance of random coincidences, procrastinated appreciation of situations and everything coming full circle can be overwhelming at times, but overall-- me likey.

...and enough of the lame metaphors:
so the update(s) include the following:

1. departing from the full time jobby job and transitioning back into being a full time/24-7 filmmaker/art-maker.
2. discovery of a new work/studio space where the energy is
positive and productive. the trip is, this space is along the same street where i used to live the summer after my 1st year at LMU.
3. reconnecting with my rock star cousin, Leah. i love this girl right here! more coincidences: Leah shares the same birthday as one of my producers AND the filmmaker who owns the studio space...trip out! what are the chances?
4. back to playing with photos: these day it's slightly beyond recreational purposes.
5. and yesterday's bipolar/seattle like weather in LA was just icing on the cake.

fun stuff man,
fun stuff.

and back to the blah blah blah.
