so the verdict is in. the commotion stirred has come to a halt. i have officially been "put in my place" by several bitches (yes, they were truly bitches) whose smiles are as sincere as a southern belle's. you know what i'm saying? the type of warm; friendly smile that's obviously hidden behind a silent "fuck you." as the underdog, i should not be surprised and i'm proud of myself on how i handled the situation. but in reality, i'm just disappointed on the decisions which have been made. it's like finding out that the NAACP is selling crack to support their next scholarship program for at-risk youth. ohhhh...! the over-the-top hypocrisies of politics. i should be used to this by now: this exploitative-like thinking and actions. although, that isn't me. one can only fake it for so long before the wackness truly prevails.
it's been a positive learning experience overall, to say the least. i'm happy that the light's shining a little brighter on the truth. let's just hope that the fakers know when it's appropriate to turn off the lights.
