For a moment, let's forget about every sterotype that comes to mind when you think of los angeles- as we've encoutered the total opposite of what outsiders may perceive.

Tim and I are getting settled in our new abode here in echo park. We love it.

One morning we were leaving to start our day and someone had left this note on our car. It reads "Driver, please be careful. There is a bird under your tire that may be injured. Thanks. PS it is the tire on the front left."

Thanks to our neighbor and mr Tim, the birdie made it to the sidewalk under his tree (I hope it was his tree) safely.
